Other name: 過保護のカホコ, Overprotectiveness's Kahoko

Description:

The drama Overprotected Kahoko (Kahogo no Kahoko) follows the life of Kahoko Nemoto, a naive 21-year-old university student who has lived a sheltered existence. Completely dependent on her overprotective mother, Izumi Hitomi Kuroki, Kahoko Nemoto has never had to perform basic daily tasks. Her mother wakes her up every single day, selects her outfits, and handles all responsibilities. Consequently, Kahoko Nemoto has never done any housework or driven a car. Her comfortable yet stifling bubble is suddenly challenged when she meets a young man. Having grown up in a completely opposite environment, this independent young man represents everything Kahoko Nemoto is not. This unexpected encounter sparks a journey of self-discovery as Kahoko Nemoto begins to step out of her mother's shadow, learn how to face the real world, and understand what it truly means to be independent.
